Day 1: Overview of E3D software and associated tools
Description of the E3D hierarchy, graphics manipulation, elements positioning and
orientation, measuring a distance and an angle, attributes and pseudo-attributes,
screenshot, introduction to the Model Editor.
Day 2: Equipment application
Modeling primitives and equipment. Representation and obstruction levels. Copying
elements using Datals. Finding and editing elements using lists and Search tools.
Day 3: Structures application (Beams & Columns – Panels & Plates – Walls & Floors –
Access, Stairs & Ladders)
Designing steel structures. Creating civil engineering elements. Creating stairs and
handrails.
Day 4: Piping application
Designing Pipelines.
Day 5: Hvac Cable Tray application
Creating simple HVAC. Creating simple Cable Tray. Using the Clasher.
Importing and using Point cloud.
