In partnership with ORINOX, AXXA, Banque Populaire and Ficamex, the Junior Chamber International of Chateaubriant sent the “Françoise de Foix” into space on Saturday, October 6th, 2018!
In order to promote our beautiful city of Châteaubriant, the JCI decided to highlight the “Françoise de Foix” through several original actions.
In June 2018, they launched a photo contest. The objective was to take a picture of your hand holding a Françoise de Foix chocolate, an emblematic object of Châteaubriant, in any place in the world, in France, in the region or a local place
Thanks to the French bakery pastry, “Merlet”, several “Françoise de Foix” were made available in places, such as the town hall of Châteaubriant, the tourist office of Châteaubriant (29, place Charles-de-Gaulle), the headquarters of the community of communes Châteaubriant-Derval (5, rue Gabriel-Delatour) as well as some voluntary shops.
“This contest is a success,” said Mathilde HOREL, JCI Treasurer, “we received a little bit more than 100 photos”. Our boss Maxime FOURREAU also participated by proudly posing with a “Françoise de Foix” in front of the Space Center Houston.
On October 6, 2018, the JCI in partnership with ORINOX, AXXA, the Banque Populaire and Ficamex, sent the “Françoise de Foix” into the Space. It was the first time for the Junior Chamber International and the city of Châteaubriant to send a “Françoise de Foix” into the Space. To infinity, and beyond.
