Accelerating the world’s Digital Twins to create a smarter, safer and more sustainable future. ORINOX is innovating in digital twin technology to optimize the performance of industrial businesses. Faced with the twin realities of energy transition and the digital revolution, innovation is one of the compagnie priorities.
ORINOX is a market leader in Industrial process technology – a position we sustain through continuous process improvement and R&D around innovative technologies and methods for collaboration, structuring and visualization of industrial data.
What sets us apart is a seamless relationship between our engineering centers and our experience in engaging with engineering projects. This allows our licensed technology portfolio to stay ahead of the competition, and it also enables customers to leverage our capabilities to turn their concepts into reality. This is a key part of our approach – to incubate and support the scale-up of potential break-through technologies, through our global innovation and lab network.
Exploring new frontiers via internal R&D and open collaboration to create the world of tomorrow. Today, more than ever before, there is a need to provide answers to the challenges associated with the energy transition. Digitalization of industrial facilities is an essential lever to reduce industry footprint. Thus, we innovate to provide solutions to scale up digitalization of our customers projects.
Furthermore, through continuous improvement, we focus our research and development on robust, independent, and performance-optimized systems to limit CO2 emissions. This allows us to design resilient, efficient, and sovereign systems in line with the national strategy of business transition through innovation, with a responsible dimension.
The level of creativity and innovation within our organization is immense; and it’s because we put collaboration at the heart of our mission that we develop and scale-up the breakthrough technologies of tomorrow.
To develop the technologies it needs, ORINOX relies heavily on cooperation between its research teams, collaborative R&D, and the academic world. Training is also part of this global strategy of relations between our Company and the academic world, via PhD programs.
Jointly supervised by LIRIS Laboratory and INSA Lyon, the thesis aims to improve the performance of ORINOX 2D data recognition algorithms, in order to digitalize Paper-based engineering documents (P&ID, Plans, etc.).
ORINOX is awarded by French Government “Relance programme” for the development of his REDOPI project. The aim of this project is substantially improve digital twin technologies to generalize their use, and thus lead to the global evolution of Industry 5.0.
The EMC2 committee, made up of experts and industrialists from the Pays de la Loire region (including Naval Group, LS2N, Clarté, etc.), supported the innovative nature of the project, and its positioning on the future.

ORINOX meets its clients’ ambitions and support them among the challenges of the Digital revolution, by contributing to knock down the technological barrier they are facing. Our R&D program is built around 3 main axes:
Optimize the display of all types of datasets including 3D models and point clouds of industrial mega-projects from third-party CAD software. Display compatible with devices commonly used in the industry (CAD laptops, mobile devices, consumer VR devices, etc.) via data conversion and aggregation algorithms.
Centralize data and ensure recording, from the start of a project to maintenance and operations; The idea is to develop technologies capable of recovering and analyzing any source of data, even handwritten (AutoDesk, AVEVA, ALLPLAN, TopSolid, CADWorx, SolidWorks, etc.)(AutoDesk, AVEVA, ALLPLAN, TopSolid, CADWorx, SolidWorks, etc.)
Development of a sovereign FR cloud service, adapted to engineering business constraints (graphics and calculation performance, service availability, compatible with industrial cybersecurity standards such as SecNumCloud or SOC1), for greater energy efficiency and data sovereignty.
The outcome of our R&D projects: a multi-device, multi-cloud, multi project and multi users’ solution. The OX Factory platform is a collaborative environment providing organizations a holistic, real-time view of their business activity and ecosystem, connecting people, ideas, data, and solutions together in a single environment.
OX Factory enables to quickly create a digital twin of the as-designed, as-built, and as-maintained physical industrial manufacture –a connected replica of an in-service asset augmented by real-time process data and analytics based on accurate configurations of the physical product, production systems, or equipment. This allows for enhanced lifecycle management and true predictive maintenance.
