AVEVA Everything 3D (E3D) Release

AVEVA has launched a new plant design product, AVEVA Everything3D, dedicated to Lean Construction that will accelerate project implementation and reduce waste.

Today markes the official launch of AVEVA Everything3D (E3D) at the AVEVA World Summit in Paris. AVEVA E3D brings together several technologies to provide a new vision enabling customers to lean practices in the fields of engineering, design, and construction and accelerate project implementation and reduce waste. As part of the integrated approach to AVEVA engineering and design, AVEVA E3D brings significant innovations that greatly improve the design of designing new plants and implementing proposed changes to existing facilities. Fundamental changes include the integration of laser scan data and 3D geometry, powerful drawing tools and intuitive user interfaces dedicated to streamlining common design tasks.

AVEVA E3D will include:

• A plant design system integrating the disciplines of engineering and design.
• A 3D modeling capability for realistic representation, combining the best 3D graphics and digitized laser scan point clouds.
• A 2D drawing module fully automated and integrated with the 3D model.
• Complete compatibility with other design systems and software.
• A tolerant architecture for project re-use and modular design, supporting integration with mobile or cloud infrastructure.
• The ability to operate in parallel with AVEVA PDMS.
