Orinox attended the AVEVA User Day in Paris on June 15th, 2017 at the Institut du Monde Arabe. The AVEVA User Day is an opportunity to experience their products, participate in technical demonstrations and meet client users of AVEVA software solutions. This French AVEVA customers meeting was also, this year, the opportunity for them to celebrate their 50 years of existence.
Orinox attended the AVEVA User Day in Paris on June 15th, 2017 at the Institut du Monde Arabe. The AVEVA User Day is an opportunity to experience AVEVA products, participate in technical demonstrations and meet client users of AVEVA software solutions. This French AVEVA customers meeting was also an opportunity for them to celebrate their 50 years of existence.
250 guests met, including 11 Orinox employees where many Orinox employees to meet their partners.
Presentations were given all day, in the beautiful amphitheater of the Institut du Monde Arabe (see photos). AVEVA presented their improvements and upcoming projects, a list of software improvements already known to some, including the development of a comprehensive solution MARINE 2020.
AVEVA users also shared their different use of AVEVA software’s. A project that particularly struck me was the ITER project.
Around a buffet, employees of Orinox were able to meet and speak with future partners.
In particular, AVEVA User Day Paris highlighted the Orinox expertise on AVEVA solutions during the partnership with ESILV, AVEVA, Areva, EDF and Sofinel for the conference ‘ESILV Partnership: Experience’, and the speech of Emmanuel MORVAN, trainer at Orinox, on the subject.
The objective of this partnership is to introduce mechanical engineering students of ESILV AVEVA solutions to meet the growing needs of the partner companies. Guillaume Montandon, head of the department and responsible for engineering tools at AREVA Projects explains: “When we had to recruit, the search for competent resources on AVEVA proved extremely difficult. We took fifteen months to recruit a resource on AVEVA PDMS”.
Through this type of partnership, Orinox and its partners, Areva, EDF and SOFINEL, continue to prove the interest and capabilities of AVEVA solutions while continuing to create career opportunities.
