Sustainable development issues are part of ORINOX’s DNA.
Through our mission to transform heavy industries by offering massive digitization of their engineering processes, we support our customers to help them limit their impact on the environment. With multiple initiatives and day-to-day actions to achieve our goals. Because we are committed to doing everything in our power to be exemplary.
Sustainable development issues are part of ORINOX’s DNA and we strive every day to minimize and limit our impact. This is achieved through real, valuable actions on a daily basis. Our green cloud servers are a perfect example!
The consumption of our servers is 100 % offset. However, carbon neutrality does not prevent us from thinking about other solutions to reduce the climate effect induced by our servers, and we have been working to reduce this effect since 2018.
All our decisions have a societal impact. We ask ourselves every day how we can minimize or offset our impact:
As a result, are very conscious of societal and environmental issues. Each year we must answer a questionnaire drawn up by each of them, in order to present the actions implemented as part of our CSR approach.
We are working to highlight the parity of our management committee. Our policy of gender diversity and inclusion. We have appointed Magali Harris as a disability advisor, and we are proud to have 15 nationalities represented in our workforce.
Our 2022 targets : to do even better
Climate is the world’s number one environmental challenge. In addition to being convinced of the role nuclear energy can play in the energy transition to low-carbon electricity, since 2004 Orinox has been running a program to reduce its own emissions with a view to contributing to the collective effort.
Our 2022 targets : Establish a SCOPES 1 and 2 carbon footprint and present the carbon cost/saving of each ORINOX project deployed for its customers on our invoices.
No matter what service is chosen, we think local. ORINOX has set up several local partnerships, such as for outdoor maintenance with an ESAT (Etablissement ou Service d’Aide au Travail), but also for the supply of fabric masks during the COVID pandemic.. We chose eco-responsible gifts to be sent to each colleague for our last JAO (Annual ORINOX/AVEVA Day) but also the continuous collection of papers which are donated to the schools of Erbray. These donations have helped fund school trips for local students.
In short, you understood it, we prefer to buy local and/or eco-responsible!
To act in the long term, we must continually implement new actions. In 2022 we want to join the "Positive Companies" group of companies in order to be able to share on CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) practices and create a policy dedicated to the fight against corruption.
